What makes you happy vs OCD

okkk, so I've been conflicted for like three days now!

Whether to abandon Lolly and Olivia in my town to pick up Lopez and someone else (maybe Merengue ehh...)
I have a favorites town and a show-town that abides by a theme. I originally put Lopez in the show town, because someone had to be cut to make room for all the cats I wanted in my new town...but I now I feel bad and don't know if I should possibly ruin what I've done to move him back.... its all these made up rules I "need" to abide by! one per species, equal ratio male:female... I thought I'd be ok breaking it for the new town, but it makes me itch

who would take my smugs spot?
who else to bring into my favorites town?
I am so conflicted....

in short, how do you deal with the stress of who to bring into? what conflicts like this have you had with your towns?
how do I cope? will you hug me?

I hear ya. Because I couldn't resist Aurora, I just got rid of a villager I otherwise would've kept. But it was either her or Peanut, and Peanut is never leaving me. *Sigh* all just to have at least 1 of each personality.

I used to care if I had all the personalities but these days I'm more content with who I like

I get obsessed with things like house placement and how it affects the layout of my town. I just had Lolly move in (yay!) and she took the spot I wanted for my fourth save file (booo) and destroyed part of a perfect apple orchard I had in place (and part of the path I had running between the trees). I had to move my fourth character behind my house because it was the only place that wouldn't make her house look out of place, but now it's reaaally crowded behind my mayor's house (2 villagers and 2 other characters so 5 total in this one area) @.@ Too much organization. And don't even get me started on flower placement...
