Although it hasn?t been confirmed, I think it?s safe to say that PWPs/amenities will be returning in NH.

I really like how villagers would interact with the amenities in Pocket Camp. Some of my favorites were the treehouse, pool, and halfpipe. I?m also hoping that we can interact with some of the amenities, and not just look on in envy.

I?d also like to see a tall slide and a swing set. Imagine a villager slipping down a the slide then scurrying back up the ladder to go again. Having animals interact with PWPs would make the island so much more lively. The only action villagers had with PWPs in NL was sitting, lol.

What are some PWPs/amenities you?d like to see in NH?

idk man, I think they might actually be gone. If we get full actionable furniture, I think that kinda takes away the need for PWPs. It might be a little weird to have a lighthouse piece of furniture but I could see it. Or maybe a group of furnitures that can only be placed outside or something.... If I want to have multiple of something like windmills or light houses, let me be!

i feel like the pwps are being replaced with the crafting function since i’ve seen you can craft stuff like signs, benches, etc.

however, i’d love to see the picnic basket and some of the illuminated pwps return since i really liked those :3

That’ll probably be the case for a lot of the smaller items like lampposts and benches, but according to the crafting menu that appeared in some gameplay footage, we can only craft items up to 3x3. I’m certain we’ll be able to display items that are larger than our crafting capabilities.

I doubt they'll be in the exact same form as New Leaf's PWPs, but I'm sure life-saving features like the ability to adjust when shops are open to better suit your real-life schedule will return one way or another (maybe something you request from Tom Nook?)... people with jobs can't wait until 10am for the Able Sisters to open, damnit! And if they have to commute far, they ain't getting home before they shut, either...!

As other posters have said, I think PWP's will be replaced with the crafting. Maybe not entirely though.

For myself, I'd love to see some kind of indoor/outdoor swimming centre which could be run by Pascal. It's highly unlikely though seeing as it'd probably be kind of pointless.

I think you’re referring to the ordinances you can choose as mayor. I agree that they will also be making a return one way or another, maybe through system settings you can access on the Nookphone.

PWP’s are things like the windmill, zen garden, fountains, etc in NL. Or the amenities in PC like the tree swing, mary-go-round, halfpipe, etc.

I think we'll be unlocking and crafting them.

I hope they do add some of the themed PC items (some of those were cool that I saw during the short time I played it.)

Basically anything that could add to a theme.
Even different trees.

Ah, so I am!

In which case, I expect those things to return as well, just maybe not as a giant fund-raising City Hall type deal. Maybe more as an expensive construction project you request directly from Nook services?

I hope theres still that level of customization even if its through a different avenue. I really like the light PWP. I made an illuminated park I'd like to make and see through the new graphics.

Isnt the bonfire item they showed in the last commercial one of the PWP?
They may not be added in the same way like in NL but it looks like they'll still be in the game.

I'd love to see more cute stuff like the wishing well and bus stop that add to a kind of small town kind of feel!

i would really like to have a pool/spa and some kind of beach shack, i really wanna go into a tropical theme for the island :)

i imagine that pwps will probably be a bit like city folk's town fund project instead of something like new leaf's because as other repliers to this thread have pointed out, it seems we can use furniture outside which may takes away the need for pwps of basic items (like benches, lights, maybe even that little 4x4 garden plot). if pwps are like city folks, i hope that we can build regular empty buildings that can be decorated however you want like in i've seen in happy home designer. crafting will probably be an often utilized feature, but i hope it's not for everything!! it looks cool but sometimes you need to have a bell sink.

I don't think they are going to be New Leaf like, but I do think some PWP-like structures will return in some form, likely place-able furniture, etc.

However, I do hope they add some new bridge types.

I could see there still being a construction site that you bring a large amount of either bells or materials to, in order to build it or speed up the building.

I had a thought, but I think the DIY crafting system may just replace PWPs entirely -- villagers could share their own DIYs with you, granting you more stuff to place in the town.

"Here's your new crafting plan I thought of for you!"

I remember the grind for unlocking PWPs lmao

There's a few of the PWP's from NL that were/are craftable in PC, so I think since crafting is a part of NH, we'll unlock them in a similar way, then craft them.

I've seen (in PC) the Fire Pit, Zen Bell, Bell, Log Bench, Stonehenge, and Tiki Torch.

There are probably more though.

I hope we get a lot of Pocket Camp items! I never played it much (tried it twice for awhile, but it just wasn't my thing), but the items from it are really cute!

I think a kiddie pool would be cute (even if it sounds kind of redundant for an island) and maybe floaties you can put in the water?
