What single species island would you have?

Too bad that owls are NPC locked. I would've loved an owl island. Based on the current villagers, I would probably pick a horse island to make my horse-girl childhood happy. XD The villagers would be:

1. Roscoe - Cranky
2. Reneigh - Sisterly
3. Annalise - Snooty
4. Ed - Smug
5. Savannah - Normal
6. Winnie - Peppy
7. Buck - Jock
8. Papi - Lazy (Ugh, the name. Then again I don't like the name Elmer either.)
9. Cleo - Snooty
10. Colton or Julian for the last one.

I'd either have cats, wolves or eagles.

Sadly, there are only 9 eagles. Also, I'd probably throw in Rolf along with the cats. Tigers are big cats after all.

Definitely Deer, I like a lot of their designs especially Diana, Deirdre, Fauna, Erik, Beau, Zell, and Lopez.

I used to think I would have a sheep island but I don't like how acnh sheep wear actual clothes instead of scarves, which keep all their fluff tucked in. SHAME. So maybe goats. Or cubs.

I once had an all wolf island but unfortunately there are 11 wolves so I had to leave one out. Dobie was left out but then I got a second island and he was on that one.

I also wouldn't mind having single species islands with cats, deer, cubs, sheep, and horses.

Hamsters, if they had one of each personality type. Though I tend to like to have all different species in NH. In new leaf, one of my starter towns contained all frogs, which was bizarre, but I learned to appreciate them, especially on rainy days

I’ve considered an all ducks or frog island… but more realistically for myself, a half ducks half frogs island. I love seeing single species islands (big fan of @Nunnafinga ’s single species towns/islands!) but I might get bored of it if I had one for myself. So rather than single species I’d stick to a single theme, such as animals that enjoy water, farm animals, etc. In ACNL I made a horror town with only different types of birds (eagle, ducks, bird, penguin, chicken, ostrich) and I enjoyed it a lot!

Wolves or Dogs would probably be the easy answer. I just love Kyle, Dobie, Vivian, Bones and Cherry so much.

Though I definitely would like to try a bird theme island, specifically Eagles, Chickens and generic Birds.
A few I know I'd like would be Amelia, Piper, Ken, Avery, Buzz and Egbert.

I think the only species I like enough to have a whole island of it would be squirrels. Ducks or frogs would also be fun. I guess I like small villagers

But really I prefer having a mix of species, I do like seeing the single species islands other people have made but I don't think I would ever do that myself.

I honestly wasn't into the Bears, then on my quest to explore other species and invite ones I haven't had... I adopted Groucho. He wasn't even the initial Bear I planned on as I leaned more towards Pinky or Grizzly. Now Groucho has survived a couple rounds of move out bubbles, and I let go of Wolfgang (my long term Cranky since last year) in favor of him. He's got the giant biker guy that could squish you if you get on his wrong side, but he is a good guy at heart even if super rough and rugged vibe. The scar on his face is also interesting.

I've grown to appreciate the Bears more, but there are most certainly more that'd I'd pass on rather than take in based more on their individual design and not the species design though.

Cubs or dogs for sure. I had all dogs on my first island for NH, but my save data couldn't transfer over when I bought a new switch . This time around I currently have villagers I like from island hopping and they're all different species. The idea of having two species maximum doesn't sound bad either though!

i’ve known ever since new leaf that if i were to ever have a single species town/island, it’d be an all deer one! deers are my #1 favourite animal and i love the ones in animal crossing so, so much. they’re all special to me in one way or another, so getting to have them all with me in one place would be amazing.

also nintendo, pls just give me one more villager slot so that i actually could have them all with me. 11 deers and only 10 villager slots is just cruel.

Might be pretty predictable but I'd say gorillas. It'd be so amusing. I'd probably put them all in leather jackets too.

I'd probably go for an all hamster island! they're one of my favourite species in the game and i'm pretty sure at some point throughout my AC 'career' if you will i got at least halfway to an all hamster island. i'd actually probably go for any of the smaller villagers just because i like a high proportion of their designs - frogs, cubs etc

But there is no peppy goat. I did consider throwing in a peppy deer as they look kind of similar but there are no peppy deers.

Sadly right now goat island is just impossible.
So I have 5 goats as a compromise.

At one point I did consider an all bear island but there are no snooty bears and both smugs are hideous.

You could have the majority be goats, and have one peppy who fits in

Maybe a horse, since they're farm animals too?

Frogs! I love them in real life, and I live them in the game. I currently have Lily (my fave), Tad, Ribbot and Gigi, but I'm not sure I would get mote just to get an island of frogs though.
