What sorts of rooms do you have in your house?

I'm finally getting serious about decorating my house. I so far have 4 rooms completely done. I have my kitchen as the right room, a bedroom as the back room, a bathroom as the left room, and an arcade as my basement. I know those things have been done before but whatever. I want to make what I want to make.

I don't know what to do with my 2nd floor or my large main room. I vaguely had the idea of making my 2nd floor a cat cafe, but I don't know if I feel like doing that or not. What did you do with your house?

the rooms i have in my house are:

• living room (main room)
• indoor garden/greenhouse (back room)
• kitchen (right side from main entrance)
• bathroom/laundry room (left side from main entrance)
• bedroom/study (upstairs)
• dream/occult/zodiac room (basement)

my house was the first thing that i finished working on in the game lol. i got super into decorating and it's probably my favorite thing i've worked on in entirety.

- red living room. Cabin vibes

- red mushroom bedroom
- Choco-cherry diner (upstairs)
- red laundromat (downstairs)

and my secondary characters house is stargate/sci-fi themed, with a crop circle room, a laboratory, a conspiracy theorist bedroom, a military office, the upstairs is on an alien moon, and the basement is high-tech egyptian

I just recently restarted my island, and am planning on only having the main room in my house upgraded. My plan is to make it almost like a loft style apartment!

Everyone's current rooms sound really nice!

Not really, no.. They helped me with some areas of my island. The houses take little space if you think about how many rooms you can decorate inside. You're welcome to come check it out if you want, my dream address is in my signature!

I have a too nice to use matchy matchy den of all the antique black furniture minus the bed that looks perfect. My main room looks like a family dining Mexican chain restaurant with tacky colors everywhere and stuff alllll over the walls. My kitchen is all silver/gray (except there’s no silver/gray table in the game!). My bathroom is all pink. My basement and master bedroom are works in progress with no defining theme

left: pink & red kitchen, lots of stuff just sitting on the floor rn :/
top: completely empty, no real plans yet... maybe an office/craft room?
upstairs: super girly pink & red bedroom with it's own little living room, pretty happy with it except for the rugs
don't have a basement yet but I might make it a little gothic lair away from all the cuteness of the rest of the house >: D

Main room is my living room. Green walls, brown shaggy rug, wood furniture with green accents. I have a large bookshelf because I love books. Back room is my library because (ooh, deja vu) I love books. Also a cosy fireplace and a desk with a typewriter on it. I remember when I had to type all my stuff back in the day when no one owned a computer. Ack. I think my age is showing. Left side room is the kitchen. Right side room is the bathroom. Upstairs is the bedroom with antique furniture and hobby stuff. Insect models, because they remind me of the time I did a 365 project and mostly made macro shots of insects and jumping spiders and enjoyed the heck out of the experience. Basement is my room to de-stress. Currently it has the crescent moon chair and a custom starry wallpaper I made. Nothing else. I love stars. The room reminds me of the time when I was in South Africa and looked up one night to see the most amazing starry sky I have ever seen in my entire life. The room soothes my easily frazzled nerves. I have a screenshot of it here in my island's photo journal.

Currently, I've only made use of my upstairs and basement rooms.

- Upstairs room is my bedroom / office room, featuring a mix of Ironwood and a few misc pieces.
- Basement is my turnip cellar. I store my turnips I buy here.
