What to do if someone vandalised you island

As far as i know, in order to send messages to people on switch you have to be best friends and to have met in person with their avatar.

This then allows some strangera met on here to use shovel and axe. While most here will be nice, what happens if they arn't?

What can you do to avoid this scenario, and be more chilled?

hey so I've been having strangers on my island through twitch and I obviously don't want my island trashed so I use a dodo codes to invite everyone, my friends come via dodo code too and they are friends on switch and they can't use shovels either. I recommend using dodo codes with strangers to avoid vandalism I hope this answers your questions.

Nintendo’s policy is to report them through their service. I’m sure that if someone gets multiple complaints Nintendo can, and will, suspend their online ability. As for what to do if they vandalize your town, I don’t know. There isn’t exactly a WiFi switch. My best advice is only allow people you trust to your island. For example, only invite TBT members with whom you’ve interacted before, and don’t invite new people who haven’t established themselves as reputable yet.

i only have one best friend so far, someone i know irl. if i need to message anyone else i'd send it to them on the site/app i met them. or i'd send them a letter in game
