What villager did you once hate but now love?

i'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere before but the reason I post this on this subforum is because I really think the beautiful graphics of new horizons has done justice to many of the "mid to low tier" villagers.

for me, it would have to be Fuchsia and Doc. I didn't hate them per se, but I actively disliked them. seeing them in the new game, I'd have to say they're some of my favourite villagers now. they got such big glow-ups! what about you?

Clay. I wouldn't say I love him, but I don't mind him as much as I used to. He's alright. Kinda cute. I used to think he was the ugliest thing ever lol

I've never liked the hippo villagers in NL. So when Biff walked out of the airport I went ugh.

But 6 days on, I totally ADORE him XD I just sent him a letter with a gift!

Sheldon. He was my worst enemy in New Leaf, this passive aggresive squirrel. He looked like his only pleasure in life was to annoy me with his work out advice. Now he lives on my boyfriend's island and I was terrified to see him there but he actually looks nicer, almost cute, kinda fluffy and way less aggressive I guess we're friends now.

I never considered Savannah before she came to my island. I never ‘hated’ her, but I never wanted her. She moved in yesterday and is the sweetest thing and her house is gooorrgeous.

Flip! He was my starting jock and I was immediately a bit disappointed as I’m not a fan of the monkey villagers, but I’m really starting to warm up to him. He’ll definitely be moving at some point though still lmao

I had Biff in my NL town and he really grew on me too! Wouldn’t mind seeing him again in NH!

I haven’t had this experience in new horizons.

But I use to hate the villager Anchovy because I thought he was ugly.

But I got him in New Leaf and he turned out to be one of my favorite villagers. He was so cute and dorky. I miss him :’(
