For me, I wish that we could pick the villager's plots. Maybe by Tom Nook following the player like he did when you chose your own house's area. Like I wish Isabelle would let us know that a villager wants to move in and we would just go and pick out a spot. It would also be fun to have different types of towns, like a desert, forest, city, etc. Anyone else have ideas?

I agree with the villager plot thing. It'd be a lot easier. I also wish that the general town area was a bit bigger. There's so much I want to do with my town but I feel it lacks a bit of space for a lot of things like pwps and such. Also, I'd love if they included a building or an ad-on to the cafe where you can buy ice cream and other sweets.

A TANNING BED. IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK? I mean, c'mon, maybe I wanna look cute with a darker skin tone and also wear wide-brimmed hats and use parasols on sunny days without turning into a pasty blob who has to keep going back and forth to the island.

I feel you! I'm so glad you'll get to choose your skin tone in HHD. Hopefully they add that feature to future games.

Yes, I agree with this!
I would love to have some kind of 'sweet shop', and where you actually have to eat in order to get your AC character to do something, but not sims-like where you have to eat/drink every two hours or so, haha.
Just a daily cake, around 150 bells maybe, that'd be so nice.

Also, I've always liked the idea of having some kind of 'relationship' with a villager, but that will never be added to the game as it might be awkward for younger players. I'm not talking about weird stuff though, just, you know, having a valentine on Valentine's Day and stuff? Oh well xD

Because we can't say it enough: Choosing villager house locations!

The cafe add-on idea is cute, I like that.

I also wouldn't mind some sort of dialogue pack DLC that brings back some dialogue strings from past games. I realize a lot of them have "old" references and such, but it would be nice to keep my villagers saying the same things to me over and over and over and over. (Like seriously, in the past week Tom has pinged me FIVE TIMES to ask me about my pasta preferences)

Edit: Oh yeah and cliffs! I really liked having sections of the village be at different heights. It really mixed things up.

I just wanna mail a fish to a villager i hate

A system that let's you know which villagers want to move in, perhaps through a new cell phone item and the villager who wants to move in calls and asks for permission.

Closely followed by the ability to select a plot that they would move into if you give them permission, so they don't move into a random spot and ruin the layout of your town.

I would also like to see more events like there was in the GameCube version - I feel this game really lacks in events, and the few that are in the game are all very similar. The morning exercises and the flag events were fun, and I liked that the villagers would chase you around if you were given a "love" fortune from Katrina.

Also, the cops saying that there is suspicious activity in certain parts of town, as opposed to nearly all events being at the plaza, was fun. But I think for that they would need to bring back an official grid system. Although, if the cops simply gave the nearest landmark ("We reported the a mysterious tent near Fang's house. It seems a cat is telling fortunes for a price...") then I think it would still work out just fine.

I don't really know how to describe it, but more different and varied interaction with your villagers! Most times I've milked out every interaction with them, or I wish I could take them to the island or maybe just have them follow me around. It'd also be fun to play the games you do with campers with your villagers.

True! I do like how they added Hide-And-Seek to ACNL. Wish villagers had more things to talk about.

I wish that the villager move in process would go something like this:
1) Isabelle tells you that a villager wants to move in
2) You go to the town hall and meet with Tom Nook, the new villager, and Isabelle.
3) You pick a spot for the villager with Tom Nook and the villager.

I believe that we should still have to take the villager no matter what because it keeps the fun of a growing town :)

I couldn't agree more with villager house placement. It made me hate certain villagers before they even moved in, hehe.
I would also love to see more varied conversation with different villagers specific to them - I have villagers with the same personality type in my town so it can be weird having the same conversation a lot.

I would also love more freedom in designing the houses of villagers, like in Happy Home Designer, or at least let them not change it. Some of them have beautiful houses like Ankha but they decide to do some decorating of their own, ruining them. </3

I would like it if villagers didn't put sharks/fish/bugs in their homes when I give them, it reduces the quality of their house I feel.

Also, I would love to be able to share bugs and fish with other players. I caught a shark that I wanted to give to a friend for their museum, but there was no way possible! Collecting and completing encylopedias alone can be fun but it would be more fun to do it together with a friend or with their help.

Also moving furniture can be quite frustrating at times. I would love an easier way of placing and moving it, like shown in HHD where you choose placement rather than having to drag it everywhere and achieving your perfect layout only to find that you've trapped yourself into a corner.
