Whatever happened with the Companion Guide?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in but I was wondering if anybody knew what happened with it. It's been sitting on my shelf since last year and I randomly thought about it today. I remember they promised digital updates when they added new things to the game, but I checked their website and the only update is still the one they did last year after the game first came out. It looks like it's already out of print too. Have they ever said anything about why they decided to stop doing the updates? I don't wanna say I feel ripped off per se, but I did buy the book with the expectation that I'd get digital updates. It seems like Future Press is trying their hardest to memory hole this guide because I can't find them saying anything about it and they ignore anybody on social media asking about updates lol

I haven't heard anything, though I haven't thought of the guide until now. It's possible it's one of these

1. Future Press considered the book COMPLETE when they published it
2. Future Press is experiencing hardships due to COVID . I can't say for sure, but I would think maintaining a book would be possible with a "work from home" policy
3. Future Press no longer sees updating the book as worth it or financially viable.
