What's everybody up to this weekend?

I've got the shop, bridge, and one of 3 new residents have moved in. Once I learned how to hit the rocks instead of dig them up, I was able to get more iron nuggets and get the shop done finally, although I keep late hours and haven't been in Nook's Cranny yet since it has been closed every time I played. I may go to a car show during the day, Dub Splash is happening in Dallas and going to see old VWs and chat with the people about their cars' history is pretty cool. I should be on tonight and then during the day tomorrow if anyone wants to visit.

Im a little burnt out right now but still gonna visit my island to give Megan pumpkins so I can get her pic. I'll probably start regularly playing again in a few weeks assuming nothing is announced at E3, but for now I'm gonna focus on a few other games in my library.

I can understand. It can happen that way. Usually after a bit of a break I end up wanting to get back to it.

I’m back on a break from the game. I was doing the wedding event and going to the studio to help me with some drawings; still may come back on to do more and eventually tt to museum day to get some more plaques.

Meh I am just doing the same tasks in this game and its really getting boring. I know I am sick of complaining about the same stuff about the game I dislike on many threads, but its everytime I play I just don't feel any joy in it. I am playing other games in the meantime but its starting to slow down on me.

Before anyone replies to me with the question " Well why are you playing a game you don't enjoy?" Its because I want to enjoy this game because I am one of those people who played the game last year. I have taken a break from this game and played other games, but whenever I come back its always the same. The game is not giving me a reason to play mainly that it lacks new content and feature to keep it refreshing.

Its not that I dislike the game or I expect this game to be "perfect" all I am saying is that the game last year may have been great, but now its just not as good and its failing to change and evolve. No game is perfect so it will always have its flaws. I really don't get why this is so hard to understand. We all have different opinions, different perspectives of how we see the game, thats just how it is.

Sorry to go on another rant, but I just can't help myself sometimes. Again I have spoken about great things about this game, but its just that I don't like repetition and it really wears on me to the point it becomes irritable. When that happens I put the game down, play something else, or just do something that would take my mind off of the game. It is helping me so far, but I just have to be honest and truthful about how I really feel these days.

Sorry to go on another rant, but I just can't help myself sometimes. Again I have spoken about great things about this game, but its just that I don't like repetition and it really wears on me to the point it becomes irritable. When that happens I put the game down, play something else, or just do something that would take my mind off of the game. It is helping me so far, but I just have to be honest and truthful about how I really feel these days.

In my opinion, I think your post was constructive. You make valid points about what you feel is lacking in the game, and you bring up possible solutions. I've only been playing a couple of weeks and I can understand where it would start to feel stagnant. It sounds like the game just isn't a good fit for what you want at this point in life. When I go to other islands in dreams, I see very elaborate decorating, and for people who enjoy that kind of thing and find it relaxing, it's probably good. I'm only guessing as far as what you may like, it sounds like you want something that has more dynamic interaction. When I played Portal 2 I really enjoyed the puzzle-solving aspects of it along with the history and the characters, and Animal Crossing is less engaging than that, in my experience.

Just my opinion again, I feel you don't have anything to apologize for. It wasn't a toxic bashing of the game, from what I saw.

Let me know what else you play, I'll check it out.

I do drawings by hand (though I’m still at beginner level) .

Today I did play a little. I tted back to museum day and did it once on all four of my characters. May tt back again to get more plaques just to hoard in the event I want to use them or sell them. Might play again tomorrow and do the wedding event to get more extra furniture. Will need to go back to the studio anyways to help me with a drawing.
