Whats the worst you have ever been scammed/had stolen from you.

So i went to somones town for a villager, (MARSHAL!) And i checked the map, and she had him, so i then dropped the bells, at that moment a girl (Her Partner in crime i guess,) Came to her town saving the game, the girl then cut her wifi and deleted my friend code.

I lost 30 million during this trade.
So my question is Whats the worst you have ever been scammed out of/had stolen from you?

Man, that sucks hard. Just goes to show the adopter should always get theirs first. If you drop your money, they can just kick you out. If you adopt first then drop your money, nobody can get ripped. Sucks that happened to you. I think I've only ever lost anything once on City Folk (I'm very cautious when trading) was when I added a IRL friend's friend who stole some of my gold roses. Needless to say I deleted her afterwards.

My worst misfortune happened in City Folk.
My first one and worst of all was: I was on the ACC forums and had won a giveaway and the deliverer was in my town giving me my prize: a full Gracie furniture set (Can't remember which one), a ton of bells and a bunch of other stuff. While the delivery was going on, somebody I'd recently added came in and then the delivery person left. I started grabbing the furniture to put in my house, and she started taking the bells (this was before I knew you could end wi-fi) and then she left. Luckily, I got ahold of the delivery person on the forums and she brought me another set. And as for the thief, I deleted her fc and gave her a bad wi-fi rating.
My other one happened in NL: This one is nowhere near as bad as my first one. I was trading with someone and she was in a super big hurry, so I started dropping bells, thinking that I had it counted out right, picked up my items and she ended the session. When I got back to my town, I realized I'd dropped an extra 200k. I didn't really care about the extra 200k as far as wanting to get it back, I just went and played on the island for awhile to make some more bells. But what really told me what kinda trader she is, is that she never questioned it or brought it up. Personally, whenever anyone leaves anything extra or other than bells in my town, I always PM them and ask about it.

I checked my ABD, and it only ever said spent 1000 tbt, not earned. But I figured maybe if admins did it it wouldnt show up on the abd?

In her defense, when someone drops off a bunch of bells, I usually never count them. If she did count them though, thats pretty sh#tty of her.

The guy who won had a lot of 5 star ratings, so I felt great about it. I think the amount that we agreed on was 20 mil, which was the buyout. He came to my brothers town and started dropping bells. Once he had dropped about 5 mil, he said that something happened and he had to go, but that he would be back really soon. The guy had over a hundred 5 star ratings, so I figured that it would be fine. I never heard from him again. That was great.

Yeah, all my bad stuff happened with ACC too. I've even traded on Gamefaqs and had better deals than with ACC. I'm still a member of their site for their giveaways mainly but I've tried to steer clear of trading there.

I've had 9 separate accounts from where things were stolen from my town... where should I begin...

...well these two topped them all:
1) Happened last month, A person I knew stole 20 gold roses and 10 black roses from my town. He did it while he was moving items from his old town to his new town.

2) This happened 2 days ago where I bought 16 Hibiscus starts for a close friend and someone both me and my friend stole all of them, the b[bleep]h hasn't been online since the incident happened.

Yikes, I've never been scammed thankfully but I only do most of my trades on reddit and this site. I try really hard to be polite to people about things and get back with people if they mess up or I mess up. AC is supposed to be a relaxing game I think some people just take things too seriously and get greedy. It's not like you're paying real money for anything. And it's not like earning money in this game is hard if you have the patience for it. I mean I disagree in general with pay millions of bells for villagers, but I understand it is a market in the game. I know it's probably depressing though when others steal things from you that you've worked hard for. Especially hybrids but I guess that's just cause I have almost no luck breeding them. I accidentally dug one up one day and got really sad. I really hope no one ever scams me but I never really do things that can warrant scams I guess. I don't trade on my main as much anymore.
