I don't really have my own style yet. I'm still experimenting with stuff.

I mostly prefer the abstract whispyness that comes with conceptual art, while at the same time rooting in realism.

But at the same time I prefer the 'lost world' feeling of some things, and the overabundant detail that brings yellows, greens, and oranges together in one composition.

I've been working on my style for about five years and still haven't managed anything concrete, but I have realized how much environmental and character art means to me, so I'll probably stick with the styles I've used in the past.

Shameless self post. I'm out.

I don't draw all that much any more, but when I did draw I never really managed to establish much of a style.
The artists/writers CLAMP had a lot of influence of my drawings though, especially when I first started getting into drawing.
I think I would have liked for my style to develop into something like this:
I've always liked watercolors and styles that are more delicate and that have a lot of details and designs. I also like styles used in a lot of cartoons and anime.

I think it I didn't get sick of art during high school it probably would have developed a lot more. Oh well.
For now, I'm fine with doing simple doodles every now and then. One of these days I'm going to break out my watercolors and get to really drawing again, I just don't know when.

I always liked to do cartooning for drawing. Like not trying to make it realistic. For example,dranonnn.jpgDRAGON.jpgcp.jpg Wait, that last one was my clubpenguin. To save me from boring lecture, credit to club penguin. But NO credit for Disney.

That's gorgeous. The best way to do something like that is just have the abstract mind and slow hand for detail. About halfway through I'd get so frustrated. That and I'm absolutely horrid at color theory.

Bite me, you needed that lecture.

The fact that I get frustrated with myself is one of the main reasons why I don't draw much anymore. There was a point where I would start a drawing, and I would quit after making one or two lines because they weren't looking the way I wanted them to and and after a while the lines wouldn't erase cleanly so I would get upset and frustrated.
So now I just doodle. I don't feel the need to be a perfectionist with doodles.

Wow, that's beautiful. At first, I thought that those characters were Severus Snape and Lily Potter from Harry Potter, but they're probably not, lol. They look a lot like them, though. :)

This is my digital anime style.

They're actually the characters of someone who commissioned her.
I suppose I'll throw in a link to her deviant art right here and on my original post

I love to use pastel colors and a cartoony style. One of my biggest inspirations is Saaki Pyrop, I'd like to be able to draw as nice as she does some day!

This is an example of her work that I love, and I'd like to achieve a way to draw and shade like this. Of course, I don't want to directly imitate, but work on my own cutesy style! :)

I don't have a style really...I just kinda draw whatever I feel like, even if it doesn't look good lol

What on earth has club penguin got to do with this thread?

Anyways, getting back to the subject......I honestly can't tell whether I have a style or not. If you look at Nicole's Gallery you could see some of my drawings that I have drawn.
