I have never had someone over, but my cousins have ACWW, so next time I see them, I'll be able to unlock Shampoodle and shower them with money. What about you?
I actually bought a second copy in 2006 because I wasn't able to make a second town on another memory card like the original. That had a town on it, and I kept that town, using her to unlock my Nookington's. I did play with a person I knew from college. We did the local wireless, not the Wi-Fi, playing about 2 feet from each other. That was in 2007. Then, I joined another AC site, made some friends who came over to see my cool SMB3 flag (I used the pattern in the Player's Guide to draw it), and some of the trees I had (all 5 fruits, money trees, numerous gold roses, and a beach loaded with coconut trees). We played together for a few months, but in 2008 City Folk came out, and she moved onto that one. Too bad neither Wild World nor City Folk has Wi-Fi anymore, I had some cool towns that can't be visited (well, Wild World can with someone in the same room, City Folk on the other hand is done, I'm done with that blending of the original and Wild World anyway).
A few days before the servers shut down, a few other players and I were helping eachother with our catalogs.
I'm intending on buying another copy of WW soon and when I do, I'll use the two towns locally with eachother.
Me and my brother both have the game, but the last time was sometime this summer. The last time I had someone over via wifi was long ago, probably around 2008.
