Where did some of my flowers go?

So, I was out for about a week with the flu, meaning I literally stayed in bed and slept without moving. That being said, today I picked it up. TT'd back to Bunny Day (last day I played.) I watered all my flowers next to Marshal's house (I've built up a nice little lilly garden that started because my villagers kept adding more and more flowers next to Marshal's place.) I got some eggs and suddenly, instead of where I had a white one at, a yellow one was in it's place. It wasn't just me not seeing them right, I have them set up. I've read that Uchi villagers can "steal" flowers, but I've also read that this isn't true. It's not that big of deal, but I'd like to know in case they can do this with hybrids :c

Only thing I can think of is it wilting and dying.
You TT'd back to that day, but it also means that time has passed before doing so.

Villagers cannot steal flowers from the ground, however they can plant a new flower in a space where a flower already exists, thus replacing the old flower with the new one. Not sure how Uchis got tied up in this rumour. Uchis are so nice. ;____;
