Which type of clothing should be added to custom designs

Any of them would be neat. I don't make custom designs but I have used them sometimes. I like the Disney princess ones when they are nicely done.

Pants! I'd like it if we had an option to design full suits honestly. One of my favorite suits was the vampire outfit in ACPC. Although, I'd understand if the coat piece was not added in for the custom design.

The prom tuxedos were so much fun to wear. Everyone looks good in suits.

Also, if skirts were to be added, they need to be shorter. Not to the knees, lol. More mini skirts!

I would love to add shoes to clothing that we could customise. I used to be a ballerina so I would love to design pointe shoes and shoes with tie up laces that could wrap around my characters leg. And make a few pretty designs with colour choices and ribbons. You could also possibly edit socks and stockings as well.

I’m terrible at designing myself but would like pants, masks, hoods, etc. I know awhile ago I was thinking about this and had a reason but I forgot why or what game or anime I was looking up outfits for. Now this is going to bug me 😅.

I'd say pants and skirts. I see some votes for gloves and they could be cool, but I'm not sure how much mileage you can get out of the villager hand that is just a nub. Even as early as NL I thought about this with the qr design.

If the design allows for more complex shapes that go beyond just snapping to the villager's body, than shoes/gloves/hats would be really cool to experiment with.

It’s not a choice but I think just a plain long sleeve option would be nice, without buttons or hood.

I would also like this. I don’t like the buttons or the collar on the only custom plain long sleeve.

scarves are my favorite clothing item irl and i would love for it to be considered a separate item, there would be so many cute designs ;;

I would love to have shorter skirts. The skirts are all such awkward lengths. I also want more floppy hats

any and all of those would be amazing, but i’d especially love to see custom pants, off-the-shoulder dresses and do-rags! ^^

id definitely like a customize-able accessories option. im into decora kei fashion, so i think it would be really cute to see what i can do it terms of that style. (im thinking, cute, crowded, colorful masks, or colorful band aid accessories)

Clearly pants and skirts. It just sucks so much when for example you try to recreate an outfit of a fictional character from a TV show/Movie/etc. and you don't find any fitting pants/skirts which gets along with the top. This is one of the reasons why I pass on so many ideas of designing or using outfits when I realize that they would look dull overall when the other half is not matching at all.

I also love the idea of gloves. They should in general add gloves into the game since it would be a nice touch to so many outfits.

This please. You CAN achieve this by making a design in New Leaf and putting the QR code through the Nintendo app, but that's a LOT of work and not everyone had access to that stuff.

I find it so odd that they have all these varying models of clothes in the game you can buy, but not use as a template. Like, the basic long-sleeve shirt, a short-sleeve dress shirt, the round dress with sleeves, longer dresses with short sleeves, etc.

This might be controversial/iffy, but it would be neat if there was a clear/colorless option for clothing designs. I get that it'd be weird cuz you could essentially make the whole thing clear and be --oh no!-- naked, but it would be really cool to make things like short sleeves with, say, a bracelet or something. Which the game already does!! Look at the vidual punk outfit or whatever it's called. That way, people wouldn't need to make a bunch of versions of the same outfit just to match skin tones.

I work in footwear design for a living, so if we're ever able to design shoes that would be perfect!

I'd like some more texture/design options for dresses. I really appreciate that the selection was expanded from ACNL, but I'd still like more textures -- especially for cultural clothing!
