I know I ask a lot of questions.

But for the wish, do you have to have it on the same day, or can you have it whenever once you've got it? I have him in the lamp, but I don't really want to use it yet.

He comes on a random day after 8 I think. And he'll pop up in a random place.

I read somewhere that he'll fulfill a wish, but it's either, picking up al the weeds, giving a random item not in the catalog and something else, I can't remember, or you can say something so you can have the wish at a different time.

The empty lamp will be useless to you because wisp appears on the same day you find the lamp. However, the magic lamp with wisp in it can be used by anyone. (they sell for loads of bells online)
