It started snowing here just before noon yesterday (24 Dec) and this morning it was all white. It is now shortly after 3 PM and the blanket lingers. This is not all that common here and usually melts off in a day or two. Snow and ice can stay around for weeks in shady spots. How is it for you folks who live in the more northern climes?

here the temperature is 17c not really a white cristmas ^^''
the last time i saw snow was in 1999 I think

in the uk its currently quite windy and a bit rainy.
we either get a mild christmas (like today) or a wet one with floods everywhere.
unless you live in Scotland then it snow, but only on the highgrounds!

however in my game ive been going on and off all day and its not stopped snowing so its all super pretty! <3

I hear ya. I ignore toy day and only play the 5 towns that are currently in Spring and Summer. Nice and warm and green, but some are pouring rain. Tomorrow, I'll resume the towns that are in current time.

It's 71 degrees F and we're preparing for a line of thunderstorms. =/

The last white Christmas we saw was in 2009 and I believe the last one before that was 2000.

I live in PA and it's actually a little warmer than usual. Besides, we typically don't get snow storms until later in the winter season.

it's super rainy in scotland rn but i think in my lifetime i've had 2 white christmas and a couple of close calls so i can't complain

There is still snow on the ground but it's been raining all day :< so it's sort of a white christmas for us~

It snowed a lot here last week, but we got warmer temperatures over the past few days so a majority of it has melted by now. Most of what is left now are patches of ice on the sidewalks and driveways. Some houses have little bits of snow remaining on their lawns, but it's not a lot and it would probably look better if it was all melted to be honest.

I wish I had a white Christmas. Ever since I was born, it never had.

a tooon of heavy snow here and it sticks and it's so pretty BUT when u go outside u barely even need a coat?? it's so lovely

same here it snowed a bit yesterday and now its all white and icy

I can't remember the last time we had a white Christmas... Probably 2010? Ever since then it's just been windy and raining every winter. I hate this country lol.

Yeah that's true! Ice is dangerous, you're right, I hate walking on it too. But sometimes I think I'd prefer it over the wind and rain because our country is totally unequipped for icy and snowy weather, so everything basically shuts down lol. Still though, I miss having snow over Christmas, it just doesn't feel right without it!

Today was in the 60s (fharenheit) and rainy lol
