Who is exited and who isn't about Okami coming out on the Switch.
I have to say that, Okami is a very beautiful game and it looks much better on the PS4. One thing about the game, that you have to be very perfect with the paintbrush with the moves when you fight in that game, which is silly. I like the art and style in that game, I like how they did the outline on the characters in the game it looks great with the back round and everything else. The bug in that game gets very annoying and its silly that he sometimes he talks about "lets hang out with the ladies".

I remember playing it on the Wii when I was much younger, and just being captivated by the visuals. I don't remember why I returned it, but I remember being stuck for some reason. Once it's out on the Switch though and I actually have a Switch, I'll definitely buy and play it till the end.

I remember the Wii one, it was so bad looking it was worst looking then Twilight Princess.

I was not a fan of the motion controls in the Wii version. I found it much easier to use the brush in Okamiden on the DS, so since the HD remake of Okami is finally coming out on the Switch I'm looking forward to finally NOT having to use motion controls that demand exact perfection over "Well it looks like a straight line so it counts."

I never got past the power slash because no matter how straight the line was, if there was even a microscopic pixel out of place the game didn't count it. And I spent about 30 minutes trying to pass the Power Slash tutorial before shutting off the Wii. Being able to use analog controls is going to be a nice change :3

I liked using the motion controls in the Wii version because it felt like drawing, even though the ds one does work better. I'm not sure if I want to get the game again though. What I didn't like about it was if you saved on the ship in the end, you couldn't leave it. I hadn't found all the collectibles yet and I had to start a new file to look for them. I feel like Okami needs a new game and not just a remake.

A crush of mine likes this game and has gotten me interested. So... Yes. I have never played the game before. I was waiting for an Okami HD sale on the PS4, but then it was announced on the Switch and I decided to wait for that release. Problem is we still don't have a release date even though it is supposed to be a "Summer" release. I wonder what the hold up is?

I know right, its like the game wants you to be sooo perfect with the painting moves, and my sister sometimes gets tired of that when she is fighting. And there will be motion controls for the Switch, you just take apart the Switch controller and becomes as two, like your hold wii controllers for the Okami game.

I won't really be any different's from the DS and the Switch and yes I agreed that they should make a new game and not make a remake.

Its much harder doing the paint fighting moves with the PS4 controller in that game. So I wouldn't get the PS4 version of Okami even the PS4 version looks better then the other versions.

I saw yesterday that the JP release for this game is in August. I don't think anything has been confirmed elsewhere yet.

Those worried about being forced to use motion controls to draw will rejoice. I've seen some screenshots of the game that allows you to use Swtich's capacitive touch screen for drawing.
