I spoke with someone for an Amiibo card trade and they said they "beat" the game.

Apparently she quickly built all the houses of all the villagers, and thought ok, I'm done, and gave it to her sister.

As for myself, I have 40? Not very far. I want to get all the villagers, and then start over again and expand all their houses!

I'm not very far in the game, I actually haven't played in a few days. I might be at 40-50 houses? I think I'm getting bored of it already

I've had the game for almost a month now, but I've only done maybe 25 villagers & half of the facilities. I don't play a lot, maybe 1 house per day or 1 facility per day - I like to have time for other activities.

Whoa, some of you guys work fast!

On my Japanese copy I designed for 180 villagers, and then had 19 empty houses to unlock stuff. So 199, which was over 2 and a bit months. About a third of those were redesigned a couple times to have larger houses too.

My English version I've designed for 39. And have 8 empty houses. (Mostly from early on in game when I had barely anything.) So 47 in 3 weeks.
I still feel like my catalogue is tiny compared to the japanese version one though and it bums me out a little designing for someone and knowing there's a good item for them but not having it. 3:

How many houses are there to do? I think I am on over 120. I only discovered this morning the 'search' clicked it in a new house and it told me what new stuff I had from that house, typed in 'Gorgeous' and all the gorgeous stuff was there! save me a lot of time.

Same, tbh. Then I can actually redo some of the houses with some of the stuff that would be perfect in their houses but I don't have unlocked yet
