Who is the best (and worst) cat villager and why? 🐈

Of course, i cant fit all 23 cats in the poll, so i just got the 14 most popular ones. (Mention your favorites not in the poll)

OH NO NOT THE CATS!!!! This is gonna be super hard for me cause i love a lot of the kitties, but i tried to narrow it down to my top 3 favorite kitties.

BEST: Raymond, Ankha, and Olivia. Yep. I love the kitties sooo much i chose 3 favorites . First, Raymond. His two toned eyes and office cat theme is REALLY COOL . Next, Ankha. Her design and house give off major Egypt vibes, and honestly, that is super unique. Finally, Olivia. Ive fallen in love with her design and she sings a lot on my island. Idk why she isnt that popular (shes not in the poll )

WORST: Tabby or Moe. Thier faces just look really weird.... idk if its creepy or unsettling...Also, an (un)honorable mention to Tom. Let me just say that his personality does NOT fit him AT ALL

sorry raymond and rosie...
but she is sooo cute and super groovy

the worst is stinky, i'm not really a fan of his design

i adore cat villagers though, most of them are amazing it's only stinky and monique, who i don't like so much but the rest are my life lol

Tabby is the best cat villager/ villager of all time, but Stinky is way up there as an adorable/ perfect jock with amazing eyebrows.

also really love Merry, she’s so sweet, and Kiki is cute as well.

objectively, I think Kabuki is one of the best overall designs in the game.

I like how different the cat villagers are. They have some very distinct and interesting designs.

My least favorite is Kid Kat, I just don’t like the ‘superhero’ design villagers at all.

I like a lot of the cats and I'm sad Felicity isn't on the list to vote for. I love Felicity. I haven't really had any cats on my islands that I didn't like. They are super cute.

Most of these cats I havent had but i hope to meet tangy lolly kiki punchy and bob. I am curious to see whats so special about bob. Katt is pretty cool and i did enjoy her.
Worst is monique. I cant. She's just ugly and has nothing that stands out to me. I know alot of people find Stinky ugly and they dont like him but at least he has an interesting color pallet and stripes.

Felicity is super cute, her little happy face expression is just the sweetest!

and yeah, maybe it is silly, and I know there are just too many cats to fit in the poll, but it made me sad to not be able to vote for my favorite too

I honestly didn't think I would love Raymond, I thought he was all hype. But I love him. The smug personality is also my favorite though. Lolly and Tangy are pretty great too.

This is a really tricky one as I love so many of the cat villagers but I narrowed it down to my top 3 and voted for Raymond, Lolly and Rosie. I found Raymond quite early on in NH and decided to invite him to my island as he was new, expecting that I wouldn't keep him long, but now he's become a permanent villager of mine, I really like his design and smug personality and he's the only cat villager that reminds me of one of my own cats. I haven't had Lolly or Rosie so far in NH but they're my favourite cats from the older games and I plan to have them both at some point in this game too.

Best cat: Punchy

Punchy has been a favorite of mine since Wild World. While playing New Leaf I discovered that we coincidentally share a birthday, so he became even more special to me.

Runner ups: Mitzi, Lolly, Anha, and Rudy

Worst cat: Monique

Of all the cat designs, hers is the least appealing.

I find it hard to pick villagers who I dislike, after a while I warm up to them all, but picking my favourite cat villager is easy. Tabby is currently my only permanent resident on my island and in my opinion the best cat out. I haven't met all the cats but have had Olivia on both new leaf and new horizons and I adore her. Currently have Bob on my island who is a cool cat. Tangy was my bestie on new leaf and hope to have her on my NH island at some point.

I was lucky to get both Katt and Raymond as random move-ins on my first island and later on I also got Merry,Tabby,Kiki,Felicity,Tangy and Lolly.If I had to pick one favorite,it would probably be Katt because I didn't expect to like her as much as I do.

The BEST:
Raymond, Kabuki and Ankha
I really like villager themes. It gives them personality and distinction. I had Raymond on my island and was skeptical at first but really appreciated him after awhile. His house is a literal office but I think of him as a fine gentlecat. Kabuki has always been a favourite because of design and fits well as a cranky. Ankha was in my old NL town and was such a queen! Really fit that snooty personality of hers. I really miss her.

The worst:
Lolly
She is highly overrated. I don't see the appeal of her and why she's so popular. She's literally just a normal cat. Normal has always been my least favourite personality type because I think its so bland.

Ankha and Mitzi hold special places in my heart. Mitzi was one of my very first villagers in AC for the GameCube, and Ankha was one of my favorite villagers in New Leaf. I just love her Egyptian Queen theme!

As for the ones I’d immediately leave the mystery islands after seeing... Kid Cat, Moe, Katt, Monique... It’s more the fact that I like other villagers more for their personality types.

Of this list I've had Katt, Raymond, and Lolly on my islands. Katt was a sweetheart, a great choice for an Uchi but ultimately didn't fit the theme I wanted. Raymond is great but the hype makes me feel like he's not as good as people think he is. He's just a regular villager like every other smug, but just new! I ultimately voted for Lolly because she is too sweet! I thought she was kind of bland/boring until I had her- she always is outside doing something cute, trying to give me gifts, haha! Lolly is one of my favorite villagers, never mind my favorite cat so she gets all my votes. I think the worst cats to me are Kabuki and Tabby, their designs just don't do it for me!

bob is my absolute favourite cat, if i had to choose a second, it’d be raymond. a third, kiki, since she shares my name. i think the cat i like the least is tabby, im sorry, but her design is so off and weird. i really don’t like it. no offence to her.

Lolly 100%, she is the first villager on my island to give me their picture and she's easily one of the cutest villagers.

Kiki will always be my number one! She was an old favourite on NL and never moved away, and I couldn't believe it when I got NH and she was the very first villager I found while island hopping. I've kept her ever since and couldn't bear to let her leave!

i love katt and its heartwarming to see that she has grown an audience after new horizons. she was not very well liked at all during new leaf days. tabby is a second close favourite of mine
my least favourites are probably purrl and rudy but i dont dislike them

Katt is my cat! I had her in New Leaf and I was so glad she was my very first villager! I had to let her go because I wanted to eventually get her normal house. When I get her back again she'll never leave!
