Mario Who is your favorite misc. Mario villain?

I wanted to ask if there's other favorite villains besides Bowser and the koopas.

Mine has to be Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario because of his backstory presented in the memory segments and his character arc, he's such a great and compelling character that I hardly called him a villain, but more of an antagonist.

His motives for doing destructive things are more of a result of his grief of losing his loved one, but he actually owes up to his mistakes and reconciles with Tippi once he get to see Tippi again. Greatest story in a Mario game in my opinion.

Super Paper Mario is actually my favorite Mario game, and in my top 10 favorite games.
Count Bleck is an absolute treasure, though I think my vote has to go to Nastasia if underlings count.

I also really like Count Bleck, and the story of Super Paper Mario in general. Great choice for a favorite non-Bowser villain... although we all know that sweet lil Bowser isn't really a villain, anyway!

I have to plug Smithy from Super Mario RPG, my favorite game. He's not as deep or sympathetic as Bleck, but he makes up for it by being imposing and creepy, especially in the second phase of his boss fight, which is itself quite unsettling due to its surreal location (You fight him on top of a bunch of red Smithy heads). I love both of the songs that play during his boss fight as well.

Honestly, I think I prefer a lot of them to Bowser. I mean, Bowser is great, don’t get it twisted, but there’s definitely a lot of other, way cooler villains. Fawful, Cackletta, the Shroobs (I guess that’s technically multiple), Dimentio, Count Bleck, Tatanga, the Extension Corps… you name it and I probably like them. The RPGs usually have really good villains.
