Hey all~
So I've finally gotten all of my dream villagers. My house is complete, and my town is well on its way to looking like I want it to.
Much of this is thanks to the lovely people on this forum, and I'm really grateful.
So I figure it's time I do my own giveaway!
This is the first giveaway I am doing; I realize the prizes are a little lackluster but as I accumulate more stuff in the future I'll be holding more. At the moment this is what I can offer and I hope it is enough.
1st place: 3 million bells!
2nd place: 1 million bells!
3rd place: 500k bells!

Anyways, it's time for answers - and results!
Solaris
Lot of Solrock and Volcarona guesses here. However, the first pokemon on my team is... Volcarona! Solaris, meaning "like the sun," was a logical nickname for my Volcarona, which is conveniently titled the Sun Pokemon. With its six wings that fan out like the sun's rays and fiery attacks this pokemon is my favorite attacker.
Riverwind
Lots of people guessed Gyarados for Riverwind, but the correct answer was... Suicune! Known as the North Wind pokemon and having the ability to purify contaminated water, I thought this was a beautiful name for a beautiful pokemon.
Breezepuff
Breezepuff is the trolly pokemon on my team... a Whimsicott! With its ability to ride the winds and its puffy back, it was quite fitting.
Miu
Most people got this one, the correct answer was... Mew! yes I know this isn't the most creative of names, but naming a pokemon as adorable and unserious as Mew, I couldn't bring myself to name it something serious, even if Mew is well known for being the almighty ancestor of pokemon and whatnot. So I simply named it what I thought was a cuter way to spell its name.
Etoile
I'm actually rather surprised that only one person guessed this right. Etoile is the name for my... Jirachi. Yes I know that Jirachi cannot be nicknamed due to it being an event pokemon but I thought the delicate name fit it perfectly, so I always refer to him as Etoile regardless. Etoile is the French word for star, and Jirachi's body is shaped like a star. People also wish upon Jirachi, just like they wish upon stars.
Naiyah
Contrary to my expectations, there actually was one person who guessed this right! Naiyah is my Mienshao! Mienshao attacks with the long skin on its arms, and the movements look much like a dance and flow like water. Plus, my Mienshao is female and I wanted to give it a pretty name, even though she is a fighting type.

The 2nd place winner, with a score of 3/6 and having posted at 03:51 pm, 08/14 is Kurisu1701!

I want to say congrats to the winners, and ty all so much for playing! I wasn't really sure how this giveaway would go since it's not exactly easy, but a lot of people participated and that makes me happy. c: On top of that I see that a good number who participated were people who haven't posted much on the forums yet so it's kind of a bonus that I helped someone get involved. If enough people ask me to send out TBT bells as a sort of consolation prize to all who entered I will do so. Thanks for making my first giveaway a success. <3
