"Wii" at E3

There's been a rumor that the Wii people were playing at E3 was a souped up Gamecube and a Wii was sitting there doing nothing. Is that true?

Well, its wasn't a real Wii. It was a "GameCube" with new proccesors similiar to the ones that the Wii will have, but since they are still finalizing the Wii's, they couldn't show them at E3.

The final Wii will acutally have somewhat better graphics, although you might not even notice...

yes atleast most of the games were running using wii hardware inside a GC case
