WII-KLY UPDATE: THREE NEW CLASSIC GAMES ADDED TO WII SHOP CHANNEL

Sept. 24, 2007

When you take on a challenge, it's helpful to know your goal. Are you trying to bury an opponent under colorful boulders, defeat the evil Syndicate's lifelike robots or rescue a princess? Maybe all three? Well, you can rest easy knowing that this week's diverse selection from the Wii Shop Channel is here to help you take care of all the above.

Three new classic games go live at 9 a.m. Pacific time. Nintendo adds new games to the Wii Shop Channel every Monday. Wii

Is the Kirby Game any good? Guess I'll just wait for reviews :p. I'm mainly waiting for Ninja Gaiden 2,or SMRPG. But Ninja Gaiden 2 sounds more likely...

Thank god that the SNES game was Kirby's Avalanche and not Vegas Stakes, cause that would have sucked!

As for Streets of Rage 3, I heard from Bul that it was a letdown, specially after SoR2. I'm not buying it right now given that I haven't bought SoR2 yet (I'm probably going to buy it this week, since I have a lot of points laying around in my account), but I plan to buy all three at the end (I'm a sucker for completing series and I guess it can't be THAT bad).

And finally, Legend of Hero Tonma, looks interesting. I going to wait for some reviews to see if I buy it.

As a side note, this is the first Wiik-ly update posted at TBT. Let's see how it is received.

Well... the reviews are up, and this week is most certainly one to forget.

Kirby's Avalanche is basically the same think as Mean Bean Machine for the Genesis.
Streets Of Rage 3 is a HUGE step down from the second game.
Legend Of Hero Tonma reeks of "averageness" (if that's a word), and should also be avoided.

|sf>At least we finally got Kirby's Avalanche out of the way. We're done with "The only boring Kirby game." Also, I won't be falling for it as a prediction vote anymore.

;) On the other plus side, I won't be opening up my last new VC card yet.
