That's actually normal. When you hear yourself you're hearing it through your skull, not through your ears. This technically changes how your voice sounds so when you hear it how other people hear it you think you sound weird because that's not how you're used to hearing yourself.

just dont worry what you sound like. if they dont like your voice they can turn their mic off. dont take that offensively lol

but if your still having trouble deciding whether or not to get wii speak, just get a usb keyboard or whatever it is and use it.

I have WiiSpeak, never really use it online with anyone on here, seeing as how I'm usually just trading and they leave right away. I like it... I also like the sound of my voice. It's not high pitched, but it also not *TOO* deep. It is deep enough though... I sound like... oh, a sexy nerd or something B)
