I hear so many things that the Welcome Amiibo Sanrio cards will only be in UK and Japan. Is this true? Someone please tell me. X'DDD

It's quite hard to say! I only know this since my friend told me, but it seems that amiibo cards aren't selling very well in the US :( So there may not be as high of a chance for them to be brought to the US.

The Sanrio cards got released today in Australia on Ebay but like there were two cards remaining at 10:15am and by the time I loaded up my paypal account there were none in stock. So sad X'D

I'm not entirely sure. However, amiibo aren't region locked. So you can buy English, Australian or Japanese cards and use them.

They're being sold in Europe. I saw them on a website that shipped internationally. Am I allowed to post a link or mention the shop name? I'm not affiliated, just trying to help.

Personally, I had an Australian friend grab me a pack. They sold out very quickly so I was extremely lucky.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. It depends on whether or not Sanrio would be okay with selling their cards outside of Japan. Sanrio does well in Japan, but I'm not sure how much they sell in the US. US retailers may think that Sanrio cards may not be that popular, especially considering the sale of regular amiibo cards. If anything, I think they may be imported by some stores, maybe small Japanese/gaming stores which sell lots of collectibles/Sanrio items, but I don't think they'll be brought in by any of the big box stores like Best Buy or Walmart.

It really depends on what the market for Sanrio and amiibo cards is right now.
