Will the new food items be sold at Nooks Cranny?

After the fireworks show last year Redds items became regular random items at the Noom store. Does anyone know if the new food items will work the same way?

Earlier today, I kindly asked someone to time travel and see if the food items will be in stock. But there was none.

some of them do. the pinwheel, the fan, the fountain fireworks and sparklers ive found in nooks shop. i havent seen any edibles in his shop though.

Those items were released last year, they were wondering about the food released this year.

I'm curious about this, too. I mean, it would make sense if they did, since those other items did. But it also would make sense if they didn't, since they don't really sell food (besides the native fruit). And TTing isn't a guaranteed answer- they could be locked to keep them special while the event is on.

There is no confirmation one way or the other, but the way that they updated some Halloween stuff to be in the game already and not during the October update seems like it could be an earlier update then it was last year.

Wait... I'm confused how them adding Halloween stuff means the next update might be earlier? I took it as a sign the next update might be AFTER Halloween, because it sounds like they already have Halloween more or less covered.
Not trying to be rude, I'm just genuinely trying to understand the thinking because I'd LOVE to think an earlier update might be coming, lol

I don't TT, but Halloween is actually not in the game yet. I don't know if you can TT back to 2020 to still experience that year's Halloween, but from what I think others have said 2021 Halloween is still time locked/update locked.

Last year Halloween wasn't in-game right when the update was released, though, was it? It was time-locked. Even if it was, the latest updates have locked holidays until the actual day (or possibly a bit earlier, depending on your timezone) so I don't feel like that gives us a clue one way or the other.
Like I said, I'm hoping we get an earlier update. But I'm definitely not gonna count on it or refer to the exact month it's gonna take place until we know for sure. I mean, that's just me, but I feel like it might confuse some users who will start counting on an update then without realizing we have no guarantee.
As we've learned with this game, if something isn't guaranteed, assuming we'll get it just leads to disappointment.
