I just invited Merengue from a Nook Miles Ticket. But I want to know if it's possible to go and visit an island and invite someone who is planning to move out. I am not sure if I will keep Merengue or if I will trade her for someone I REALLY think fits my island's RWBY theme, like Hans, Octavian, or Ankha.

Just want to know will islanders move out and will there be the option to invite them if you let someone over? Becuase Merengue will likely be able to score me someone else for sure. If I remember correctly she is VERY popular.

I certainly hope so. I'd love to be able to give away Zucker to someone who likes him! (He's nice, but, uh, the food theme puts me off on every food villager but Tia. It's just weird on everyone else).

Besides which, villager trading was a really fun means of interaction. They'd come with their old town tunes to sing you, and whatnot, and it was just cute. I'd hate to think it was gone.

I was wondering this in regards to campers, as I just got my campsite all set up and moved Kyle in via amiibo. It took three days, however, (yeah, I still TT) I had to woo him over with a new item request each day before he agreed. So I'm wondering if it's anything like NL, where visitors can talk to campers and invite them to their place, but if it would still require three times?

Kind of looking to try this out with someone. I have Ankha to scan in if you're interested in seeing how it works? Just bring any fruit if you have pears, cherries, or bananas lol.

getting your fave villagers is so much harder in this game mainly due to autosaving :/

I had my friend try for a villager out of my campsite and he just talked about my island. However she also hasn't had the 3 plots from Nook yet so I'd like to test this on someone who has. Otherwise, there's steps to anaylze when I have 10 villagers.

Villager trading is a thing still, all you have to do is get them into boxes (just like ACNL) and then a friend can go inside their house and talk to them. You can also force them out into boxes with the amiibo cards once you have 10 villagers, and just like WolfyWolf said it requires to do a DIY for them each day over 3 days for them to finally want to move in. It was kinda annoying but I managed to do it for 9 of my amiibo card villagers

Thanks for confirming the facts at 10 villagers shootingxtar. Glad to know I will be able to force a few out. So same process just moderately longer...

Do you have a choice in who you force into boxes once you scan amiibo cards on a max capacity island?

So 10 villagers is the confirmed max amount? I'm kinda sad now, I expected we could have more in this game.
