Winter Banner

Heya folks, please don't jump on me for this, but the winter banner and forum background is too bright like in the game.

How do I say this?

It's a little depressing and the forum doesn't look it's usual bright and colorful self.
I know you are going by seasons.

Today is the first day of summer for me. ^_^

Is there a way to have the regular spring or whatever the others are, as a skin choice?

New Horizons has a hemisphere option, guys, how about it?

Tis hard to be around all that blinding white. No offense to the artwork or anything, but it is too much like winter in the game.

Tis just a suggestion for those of us that are depressed by the snow. ^_^

Again, please don't be offended, and folks don't jump on me for not feeling the same way you do.

Being able to pick a season or theme as been debated for years now. The mods don't seem too interested.

Is there not a way you could possibly lower your screen contrast/brightness? Or maybe a plugin for the browser?

Speaking of which, it'd be cool if someone made a plugin that allowed you to change tbts season. I've seen one for the rain effect and banner so it shouldnt be that hard to create.

Nice and colorful.

Colors do actually affect a person's mood.

It's hard for me to imagine it's winter at Christmas. All that depressing blanket of white.

Oh, of course. They don't deserve that much work and the design isn't bad. I'm referring to the CSS and such.

I know it's the point.
As in my OP, I said I know they are going by seasons. (As the game does, obviously)

Had to take panadol. I haven't had a headache all year until today. It's my eyes.
I have allergies, and I've just come out of three months of spring where my eyes went through hell, and I load up the winter page.

Tis not good.

Edit. I would be totally happy with a hemisphere skin option. Then it could be bright all year like it is in Australia, pretty much. ^_^
