Etymology:

It came from a 19th century French word débâcle, which referred to “breaking ice in a river”.

• A movie becomes a box office bomb that ruins the studio’s reputation forever
• A roller coaster train jumps off a track, breaks into bits (as seen in RCT/RCT2)

I feel like debacle is quite a common word to use over here. I like it as a word
