I would prefer staying human, changing hair, different eyes and many more.
But what if you were a animal doing that instead?

I don't mind being human. I like all the options for appearance.
I think being able to be an animal would be fun too.

I'd go for an animal as long as there were appearance options. Maybe like if you chose Cat you could have different body patterns like stripes, spots, patches etc. Change eye colour. Still wear clothes that could be designed and changed. They could also do anthropomorphic animals and have hairstyles for them.

I would love this to be a feature. I guess the character would be a relative of Harriett, but be more of a mad scientist nature. Anyhow, it would have to be basic. Select coloring and template facial patterns. As for me, I would probably choose wolf.
