Has anyone on here ever tried a project like this? A giant doodle drawn in the wall and inspired by Mehndi design

A while ago in my old house, my mother set up a large chalkboard cover on my entire wall, so it was my goal to always fill it up I wish I had pictures because it was actually very relaxing to come home some days and just cuddle up on my bed and draw on the walls without penalty.

Oh, too bad you didn't take pictures! Sounds like fun! Being able to draw on the wall and fill it up! That's a really cool idea

If you really like art or just have some spare money and time on your hands, you can go out and buy chalk paint and paint a section of a room so you always have a canvas ready for you! It's a good stress-reliever

I have this idea for some art I want for my walls and I can't find them in any local stores, (and if I did, I couldn't afford them anyway) nor can I afford to order them online where I have seen them .... I'm looking for rain wet street or cafe scenes at night ... Predominantly Reds and golds ... Sigh ... I'm just not good enough to paint my own
Maybe if I practiced

You could always request an artist to paint something like that for you

You could do a design on your wall with tape but it's pretty hard and you have to be careful not to cut your wall lol (though you could cut it on a mat and then stick it on your wall) Our art class did it with black painters tape/masking tape. more affordable too c:

I have a nice sized chalkboard panel in my room, it's just a big thick vinyl sticker and me and my boyfriend draw and write notes on it, I want to get more of them so we have a large area to draw and write on but it's still super fun, I have these chalk paint pens that work really well and leave a nice bold line so I can draw all sorts of stuff. =D I've always wanted to have some kind of mural on my walls though, but I don't feel like I'd be happy with anything permanent.

Now that sounds fun too ... I've seen those chalk paint pens, wet erase fluorescent in the office supply store ... Looked like a neat thing to try ... I wonder though, when you erase them, does it leave a stain behind?
I guess I should really just try some of these ideas instead of dreaming about them! Lol

You guys are making want to paint really pretty things on my walls when I get my own house. XD

Of course they wouldnt be good at first, but they would tell a story of improvement. And they'd all look pretty in their own way
