X-Play reviews ACCityFolk

LOL. When I read that it said X-Play I expected the review to be "IT'S ON WII, IT SUCKS!"

I can't believe they gave it a 4/5.

They gave the first AC the title of 8th best game on the GameCube =)

They gave BoomBlox a 5/5, lol.

X-Play is weird, but at least the game got a decent review from somewhere, but doesnt X-Play know that "#/5" rating systems are ancient?

I hope they didn't take out seasons. I saw it in the trailers before the game came out and I never seen other weather in other towns, so I'm confused too.

The most common complaint I hear about the Wii version is that it's similar to the DS version.

Take out seasons? Um... you have the game lol... there's obviously still seasons
 
X- Play gave Wild World a 5/5 they give good reviews to good games im sure City Folk wouldve been a 5 but they put it down to 4/5 and thats like 70-80% out of 100 so its a good score compared to 2/5 games

i noticed that morgan webb was anticipating the game at e3, so she may have had part of the final score.
 
I can't trust X-play, IGN even. I usually check out kotaku or what people that I know have to say about the said game :p

Wow.

X-Play died when TechTV became G4TV. Everybody knows that X-Play is like the AVGN: it's not serious, and if you do take them serious, take with a grain of salt.
 
lol, you can kinda tell in morgan's voice she wanted this game to get a 5/5. But I think 4/5 is still almost perfect like if 4/5 was 89% and 5/5 was 90% or Higher. I consider a 3/5 a decent, okay game and a 2/5 or lower not even worth playing.

But Yeah, I don't get that "moment of upsetness" about seasons either. There are still seasons in the game. Obviously anyone who is playing by "Resetti's Rules" or the "Right Way" knows that, because we, who play in real time, have brownish trees and towns. so why hate on them? Someone do a Video Viewer mail asking about this, or I will!

that me me very upset. it's a huge, glaring inaccuracy. why would anyone bother playing if you could accomplish everything no matter when you played?

granted that's how every other non- real-time game works, but animal crossing relies on this formula for its success as a series.
