Yes, this is my real name.

Ooh, thank you so much, honestly. I can definitely appreciate a good pun. And I'm no liar, don't be riddikulus!

I am transgender, so I was able to pick my name. (The only perk...) Although I did pick it, it's still legitimately my first name. Sorry, that takes away the mystery...

If I may ask.. and of course you don’t have to answer this, what was your name before? Also, you have a cool name! I got stuck with a basic name :/

I don't feel comfortable sharing my deadname, I'm sorry! I mean this in the nicest way possible, as a heads-up... You shouldn't ask that, under most circumstances. I understand that you meant no harm and were genuinely curious, but for many trans people this can trigger their dysphoria and related things. I'm sorry for the forced education, and of course, you don't have to listen to me, but... This might help everyone feel a little better in the long run! Um... to answer your question more... It wasn't extremely common, and it was spelled uniquely, but... it was very feminine, and it didn't feel like it belonged to me. Although I share my name with a fictional character, I feel the most myself now, for a multitude of reasons!

please don't ask people about their deadnames, ever

unless you're in like some field of work where the name is required, but I'm doubtful most people will have to do that

Thank you for the info! I didn’t know that was how it worked. I’m sorry if I offended you. I never meant any harm

I’m sorry, but I’m friends with a few trans and when I asked them this they never told me that asking was offense
