They're the site currency! If you click on your bells number a little box should pop up; click on the 'transaction' link and you'll see where your bells come from.

You can earn bells by posting, & you can use bells in a manner of different ways, like using them to buy collectibles or trade for villagers/ingame items. Check out some of the other boards if you're curious about how they're used!

You earn bells by posting, or selling stuff. You can transfer them between users.
You can check out the TBT marketplace to see what people sell.
Mostly Animal crossing stuff or pokemon and collectibles.
I don't understand the hype about collectibles, but I decided to get some anyway.
So, some generous people might just give you some, for no reason.
I don't know. I did that a couple of times, because I didn't understand what good they were to me.
You can also save them up, and I think sometimes buy some other things. Like actual games.
Idk...It depends one what people are selling.
I know you weren't asking me, but I was here. So, why not? lol.
