You Can Be Great

Since everyone is so into poems nowadays I thought I'd give a shot at it.

*EHEM!*

You can be great
all the stars in the sky pierce through us
the moon can blind worse than the sun
the blackness blinds us from our path
but soon the gold will spread

You can improve
the stars above start to fade away
the moon begins to walk away
the blackness fades into our trail
please take a breath of air

You have appeared
the sky is gold, I see you smile
the sun is up, its light so great
our path is bright, and so are we
blackness is gold today
