.... you wake up at 5:40 am to the view of your neighbor's house engulfed in flames. Yup, that is what happened to me this morning! Thankfully, the house was vacant and it was going to be demolished soon anyways but it was a pretty raging fire. My dad was the first one to call 911 and then we sat in my parents room looking through their big window just watching the house be burnt to the ground, not going to lie, see a burning house is pretty cool. I took a picture on my cell phone so it's blurry but you will get the idea:
And because nothing happens in our town, it was pretty big news for a house to be burnt to the ground so the local news station came into my house and interviewed my dad since we were the first ones to report it .. and again .. I took a picture of my dad in our kitchen getting interviewed :O
Anyways, it was a pretty exciting day. Burning houses across the street don't happen very often.... nothing else I did in the afternoon could compare to what happened in the morning. But if you are curious .. I went to work around 2, got off at 7 and went to my friends house, we then went to walmart and bought the movie step brothers, and then went to another friends house to watch it and eat cookie dough. And now I am tired. Hopefully I don't wake up to another fire tomorrow morning ...
