REALLY what was wrong with it? mine wont read any disks
Well then it's domething with your disc reader. You can go on Nintendo's website and check if you can fix it yourself or just trysending it to nintendo.

same thing with mine but its too late i already sent it to them to be able to fix it myself

My Wii hasn't had any problems at all. I hacked it to get free VC and WiiWare games so I can't update it until my bro comes home for Christmas, but other than that it's never had any issues :)

i have a very...unique problem with my Wii right now. I may or may not be able to play City Folk Sunday. =( It's explained best in this e-mail I sent to Nintendo:

I have a problem with my Wii right now. Whenever I go to "Save Data" and "Wii" or "Channels" in "Data Management" in the Wii Options menu, the screen appears blank and freezes. The background music still continues, but the pointer disappears and can't navigate back to the Wii Menu. Also, the Wii can't be turned off by pressing POWER on the Wii Remote or console, you need to either press and hold POWER on the console for about 4 seconds or unplug the power cord. Because of this, I cannot delete or move save data or channels to or from an SD card. I can, however, access the "Nintendo GameCube" screen in "Save Data" without it freezing up. This problem occurred after I turned the console off while erasing a Virtual Console Channel. I was erasing a Virtual Console Channel (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) to free up some memory space. After selecting "Erase", I waited for the data to be erased. After 30 minutes and the Channel still not erased, I knew something wrong. I figured it froze or something, so I called Nintendo's 800 number, but they couldn't give me any help. They told me that all I could do was turn the console off. I turned the Wii off, and when I turned it on again, I found that the Data Management menu froze when I tried to access it. I need this problem to be fixed, because I don't have enough memory space download the new Nintendo Channel update, and I probably won't don't have enough room for Animal Crossing: City Folk's save data, either, or any other Channels. I have a launch Wii (I got it at midnight on November 19, 2006) and treasure it very much. I am a very dedicated Wii fan, having never missed a single Everybody Votes Channel poll or Check Mii Out Channel contest. I even won 40th place in a Check Mii Out contest. My Wii contains literally HUNDREDS of hours of gameplay saved from many games in the console, and I can't copy any data to an SD card because of this problem. If I were to send my Wii in to get repaired, would the save data have to be erased? If there's any possible way to keep it, I'll do anything. If you could, I'd spend another $250 for a new Wii for you to transfer my old data into. Please, tell me what need to be done to repair it and if my save data can be kept, in any way possible.
