Last night I found my first good mystery islands, two in a row. It was 3am, and I found the money rock island. After that, I put on my dodo shirt just to see if that rumor helped any, and I got a tarantula island. The best mystery islands I've ever gotten before this were only hybrid flower...

Time traveling backwards at all will spoil the turnips sadly. I don't think they'd be the same prices either way, though. Your best bet is finding someone's island where the nooklings are buying for a high price

My first attempt gave me Diva, so I noped out of there real fast. Four times of resetting in the end! I ended up with cherries and an orange airport, with Fuschia and Mac :) I'm quite pleased. I only got something other than cherries once out of the times I tried, and kept getting the green airport.
