i still use the binary tool
pixel art is made using only a binary brush, otherwise its not pixel art. if you use other brushes, then its digital art. all pixel art is digital art but not all digital art is pixel art.
i also use the paintbucket tool for large areas, with these specific settings as to not mess up the image.
do you mean for pixel art or regular drawing

when you right click the tool area when you make a new tool, youll see this

BUT. you can't just draw something without refining it and say ok this is pixel art, when in reality, its just drawing with the binary tool.

theres TONS and TONS of tutorials you can google about shading and such.
so um about ur pixel shop
you should really just use the pixel/binary brush with these pixels
also mayb try shading them? unless ur going for the flat colouring style.
