You'll have to get your own Monster Hunter amiibo in order to move Felyne into your town. Even if I moved Felyne into my town and got him in boxes, you still couldn't invite him to move to your town. I have tried that, and the villager actually moved to my town. But once I got them in boxes for a trade, the trader couldn't adopt them.
