  • Oh no, I really wish I could offer more, but he's my dreammieee and I traded tbt for bells just to get him
Nah, I was replaying it. After they shut down the servers in May, I just restarted.
It's a dermatology issue. I don't have bumps on my head because my scalp is covered in scars from injuries and photosensitivity issues.
hrm, uh, you mean pimples or not pimples? i get acne but i dont have any bumps that dont go away. o.o
    Part two of my message:

But a belief I find more convincing at the moment is that hitting the villager keeps them from reaching that high enough level of friendship that they will begin to ping to move out, but also never puts them at that 'unwanted' stage that you get by never talking to them (including never introducing). In other words, they hit a 'limbo' point which you can only get them out of by building friendship.

If this belief is true, then hitting all your villagers would put them all in limbo.

But this is an untested theory.
So you have been doing such hitting, pushing, etc., of villagers since getting your permit? I have read theories about what gets villagers to move. A popular belief is that by not talking to them at all (including not introducing on their move-in day), they move out because the game determines they are 'unwanted,' but if you talk to them you have to build up friendship until they reach a point where they will begin pinging to move.

Hitting villagers seems to complicate things. A common belief is that 'abuse' hastens them deciding to move out, provided you have talked to them at least once (since, if I correctly recall, hitting villagers you have not introduced to will not cause them to get mad).

(Have to submit another VM, as the full message is too long).
I imagine there is something I may be missing. I am not doing a good job searching Google for the requirements for getting villagers to start moving. I know that once you reach eight that is the 'moving out' period, and I recall mention of a permit, but I wonder if a guide might have more detail about when exactly the villagers start moving out for the first time.

And I imagine you have been time traveling many days when you were going one day at a time, otherwise I would suggest time traveling more.
Never had this problem before, and do not recall anyone else having it. I imagine you are still time traveling in the hopes of getting someone out?
By the way, on the permit thing, you already have a house, right, not just a tent? And all this time traveling was after you got a house? How many days did you time travel when going day by day?
So nobody has moved out at all? You are certain that no villager just disappeared, replaced by a new one?
How many days have you time traveled so far? Have you tried going one day at a time to get someone 'in boxes'? Also, are you trying to keep certain villagers in that town?
