  • Oh, that makes a lot more sense now. That may be the reason why she did that, then. Crazy people on Club Tortimer these days.
My villagers are being stubborn as hell... ugh. Sorry, this might take a while
Eh, not really. I'm gonna finish my report I need to get done, then work on TT'ing. Maybe I'll get Beau out and auction the little ******* off *dreams of swimming in bells*
That's great! I think it would be rather hard for someone to hold all your villagers. That would mean they'd need a fresh, new town. But even then, they would only be able to hold 7 of your villagers. I think the only thing you can do is allow at least 3 different people to hold your villagers since it's almost impossible for one person to hold them all. That, or have someone hold a few of them (like 3 or 4) and see if you can purchase the rest. (Or, if you get lucky, you can nab them at a giveaway).
Oh, I didn't mean anything like that! What I meant was I would have held your items in a heartbeat if I was able to. Hopefully someone is able to help you out. & Anytime!
That's true! Yeah, then perhaps your best bet is to reset and hope for the best.

I wish you the best! I would volunteer as tribute, but I already have so many items lying around... Yeah, good idea! You definitely want to make sure you know exactly where you want your house, villager homes, retails and town hall. Good luck on finding someone who is trustworthy enough to hold your items.
If it were up to me, I'd let certain villagers go who aren't in a good spot. (That's basically what I did, lol). Sometimes, you're going to have to make sacrifices and stick to what you have. Your town layout isn't bad at all; perhaps you need to put your bridge(s) in a different spot so it could work with what you're trying to do. Oh, and plot resetting is going to be rather annoying as well. I'd suggest putting PWPs in places where you definitely don't want villagers to move when you do.

I don't know if I really helped. You probably already knew all this. Sorry.
The thing about cycling out villagers is that it's going to take quite awhile to do so. It's so much time spent into trying to get them to move, cycling through 16 villagers, then waiting on the holder to get said villager to move out of their town... Only to get said villager in the same exact spot! I'm exaggerating, but you get the picture. Also, it's never a guarantee that they'll hold on to them forever... They might give you a deadline or whatever, and that's no fun.

If you really want your current villagers, yet don't like the placement of them, then you might as well go with option 2 and have someone hold your items. However, that's a very long process in itself, and you might not like the new town layout as much as you thought you would. You'd have to purchase the villagers (again?).
