  • oh for sure! my bird koa who passed away loved me more than anyone else; she would kiss pictures of me when my mom showed them to her on her phone, she would bite everybody's fingers when they held her or bite their noses when they kissed her, but when i held her she would get all fluffy and rest her butt on my hand lol, and when i gave her kisses she'd kiss my nose. my bird cricket gets mad at me when i leave for school; when i visit my mom and birds he'll always be really mad at me the first day and pinch me, but then he'll get over it and nuzzle into me when i give him cheek kisses. those are just some examples though, i think that all birds love in different ways, but i've never seen a bird who doesn't show any affection to their owner. :) i'm sure your birds love you too!
nope, i asked them specifically about birds and they said no. i have a friend who lives in the same building who got an eviction notice for having a hedgehog, so they're pretty serious about their pet policy lol.
Yeah, the girl who got ripped off for sanrio stuff. Told her you might be able to get her some sometime for a decent price xD
I haven't seen the movie. Is it good? o: The animation looks awesome! Apparently there's rumours of another Frozen movie? Maybe they'll give Elsa a boy there?
ahh that's awesome!! if i wanted to go to a pet store i'd have to take a bus and it'd be like at least a 40 min ride so it's not a super appealing idea to me lol, it's nice that you live so close! i'd go see the birds all the time :)
lol they're also like the cutest thing in the world, they're just kind of loud sometimes ;)
yeah me too!! i'm always sad when people don't like birds or are afraid of them and i'm just sitting here like "give me all the birds in the world!!!" lol
aww they're slippery little things! haha :) i had one parakeet who passed away that would slip in between the bars of one of the cockatiel cages when he was locked in his cage (for being naughty lol) and she would just sit right in his face to make him mad, you could always tell she went in because he would start squawking lol. but yeah i would definitely recommend the toy!
ahhh it didn't work, it's just this triangle shaped thing that's like the bars of a cage and you can hang toys from it :)
nice! i hope it goes well! my birds love hanging out on their cage tops; we have a few of these triangle things on the top of each cage where we hang toys for them to play with and they love it :)

i think the only time it harms them is if you clip a blood feather (which would bleed and need to be clotted up with flour or one of those sticks you can use) or if you clip their actual wing on accident (that would be awful :( ), or if they fly from very high up and hit their tummies, but we haven't had many problems and they're very quick to learn that they can't fly so they should take it slow lol :) if you're unsure of how to do it most pet stores will do it for you for a small fee :)
i don't think it's bad to clip their wings, we usually do that when they start flying around and getting into stuff or misbehaving, mostly for their own safety. i think it helps them learn where the boundaries of the house are and things like that, ya know? we don't really clip them anymore because they stopped doing those things once we clipped them a couple of times :) plus getting their wings clipped doesn't hurt them or anything, so i don't see any harm in it, they still get to stretch their wings! :D
Oh my goodness! I've never actually seen that character before! Well, the shipping doesn't seem to make sense, as usual with those types of people. xD Imagine Disney and DreamWorks team up and make an ElsaxJack Frost movie? D:

we pretty much just let mine roam free lol, but they only ever fly around the living room where their cages are anyway (unless they get scared by something, then they might go a little farther). we have lots of cages of course so they mostly just go from cage to cage trying to annoy the cockatiels :)
