I'm actually very disappointed. I've been playing for hours and haven't been put in a single killer team, I got put with semi decent teams twice but still aren't good enough to beat the dogs, they are just too tough! I have a feeling they will win. I think the fact that mallows come in higher numbers made them too confident and lazy while the it's the opposite case with the dogs, they are really giving it all. even when we win against them, it's a hard win

I tried Twin Squads with Jingle and wow is it a world of difference. You can still have your competent friend so it's at least 50% a good team right off the bat and not as much of a randomness factor of "are you getting bad or good teammates?", and it's also not completely unfair with matching 4 S players against 3 C's and an A. Not only that, but most people who actually want to win and don't suck usually stick with squads, meaning most people who suck will be filtered out and put in regular Ranked.

Well, according to the Squid Research Lab, in the latest post they went over the things that the update was including, and there was no mention of new maps. :L

Not necessarily changes but things like new maps, a mode, ect. The additions are nice but as far as we know don't serve a purpose/don't completely change the game.

Unless they add more stars, new clothes would only serve as an aesthetic change, and only if you actually like the clothes. Music is nice, but again, it's not like it changes the actual game itself. Adding an S Rank doesn't really have a purpose other than the title, and even then the only way to get S is to play ranked like it is now with random people, so it's not like most people will be able to obtain it. Besides the things it unlocks the level cap itself is also just another title that doesn't do anything. While matchmaking and squad battles are great, at it's core it's not like they change up the game; you'd still be playing in a 4v4 in x mode. The only difference now is that you play with specific people. The main thing for me is the new weapons but if I don't like them then, oh well.
