It's the best tactic, until you do look at the map and realise you're losing by a country mile. I try to look down more often now and check to see if I'm needed somewhere. (and then ignore it and stay at the other base)
Oh yeah, I had a second decision on which teammate I thought most likely to move away from me at the junction and chose you. The other guy came towards me too though.
