This gives me goosebumps, especially when Tony and Bucky have that tension with the pistol and all. When Buck pulled the trigger, Tony was like "holy ****, he ACTUALLY pulled the trigger" and if it wasn't for that watch Tony had that transformed into the hand from his suit, he probably would've died. I'm guessing Tony expected it, but didn't think Bucky had the balls to shoot him.
