    Oh for sure, flash carts can be expensive and in high demand (at least for decent ones) so I'm keeping me eye out in the future!
    A hamtaro handbook sounds precious, and all of those crafts and figures sound like a great time. As a kid, I only ever saw Hamtaro on TV rarely and I have a vivid memory of the mcdonalds toys when they came out in the early 2000s. Given the series age, it makes sense that a lot of its merch would be likewise getting up there in age.

    A little fun fact: I read up a bit on the GBA e-reader a while back only to find out there was a japanese hamtaro e-reader card set too! I'd love to own even one of those cards someday but they're so hard to come by.

    Hamtaro was on tv on one tv station where I lived which was nice. Turns out they didn't dub all the episodes so there's a good chunk not dubbed that ironically introduced certain characters in the games. Which explains why I didn't know who they were lol and the games didn't typically explain it. That card reader set sounds so cool! I just know that Japan got some cool merch we didn't here in the West.

    I remember learning about that! It’s a real shame because I love the english dub voices, I think they nailed them. Hamtaro has always seemed to have a bigger presence over in Japan sadly (as with many series). There was even a built-in Hamtaro crossover in one of the 3DS Story of Seasons games that was removed when it was localized!

    I'm in the same boat actually lol. I watched the entire first season when I was younger and enjoyed it, tried the second but didn't care for it, and started Tamers. It's better than S2 lol and obviously Terriermon is an absolute icon. Cracks me up everytime he's on stage.

    I 100% agree that season 2 doesn’t live up to the first, but the small bit of Tamers I’ve seen has been great! I love Guilmon and how much of a big baby he is despite looking pretty ferocious for a rookie level

    I watched all of Brotherhood several years ago and posted about it in the anime thread. Absolutely loved it!! Al Elric is my favorite character in the show. 🤖

    I don't really like anime games but I was so going to buy Tokyo Mirage Sessions on my Wii U when my friends told me how much they liked it but then I saw gameplay... I did the same and didn't buy it lol

    Haha! Yeah, I really like the Persona series and heard Tokyo Mirage Sessions was very similar, just not as long or in depth. What turned me away from it was definitely the characters. I heard they were generic and cliche but they really took the cake for me. The main girl was just super annoying, I couldn't do it lol.
