I love when characters are awesome enough that you just want them to be happy <3 and yess!! but tbh I have this curse where more often than not, I'll fall for the rival character. it's the worst because they always lose lmao. but I mean, I wanted shizuku to end up with haru because that's who she loved, but she "made more sense" with yamaken. you're right though, they'd be boring together. in 80% of all the shoujo manga I've read, I probably prefer the rival love interest ((probably an actual statistic))
