Mine was on Fat Tuesday this year. It always lands on the day before Valentine’s Day (and the day after the America-exclusive holiday of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday).

I finished collecting all badges and beat the Elite Four. What I’m still waiting to do is finishing my Pokédex. Oddly enough, the legendaries (including Mew) were easy to get. What I can’t get is Oddish, Sandshrew, or the Pikachu exclusive ones. -
