That's great; it shows that you're productive and put effort into learning new things/bettering your skills!
Tho I wouldn't translate the number of requests you get to worth for your work; getting a lot of customers relies more on timing. Your art is quite good as it is, & you have years ahead of you to get even better. I'm guessing you're a high school student.. right? Hope this isn't creepy. I'm a HS junior myself, if it helps

& you shouldn't be ashamed of those thoughts at all! Every artist needs a solid idea of what their work is; it's natural for good artists to feel that way (you're certainly one of them).
& about your shop, I'm sure you'll get more comms once the time's right/more ppl are interested. This IS an ACNL forum, after all; have you considered opening a shop on art forums, for instance? Members here don't seem too fond about RLC, so that could be the case! Good luck tho ;-]

JUST TO CLARIFY. I liked your post because I wanted to let you know that you should be confident in your work, since it's amazing! I didn't give a post like because I agreed with what you said about never being recognized/giving up trying to make it anywhere; I don't, and I think great starts do matter and you've got a great foundation for it ;-]

So again, you should be more confident in your work! I just wanted to drop a VM about this in case anything was taken the wrong way, lmao. Kind of like when someone makes a depressing post on tumblr? People like it to give support, not wallow in that person's suffering. Lol.
